Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:5b And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Gen 1:8b And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Gen 1:13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
Gen 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
Gen 1:23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that He had made, and behold, it was very good.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
This a question all believers must answer: Is Genesis 1:1-1:31 God's truth??

R.C.Sproul points out that the creation process reaches the pen-ultimate point on the sixth day with the creation of man in His own image. The ultimate is that on the seventh day, God rested, not from fatigue but because he had finished ALL creation and there was no more creating to be done. Only in Gen2:8 we are told that God BLESSED the 7th day and hallowed it because on it God rested from all His work which he had done in Creation. (RSV)

Sorry about posting the same comment twice!
In the link to Creation Moments is the 2008 Newsletter by Mark Cadwallader, Board Chman and he tell of the song - We have so much to be thankful for - which is the very same song that we taught to and sang with our ESL students this morning! And we did the hand motions, too. And the list that the students made of all the things they are thankful for was joyfully amazing. We had a very thankful time and we do have so much (sing it 11 times!) to be thankful for.
